This tap is right on the button

The new Hydro Tap, from Zip, will filter water for you then chill it or boil it – all at the press of a button.

The tap has an easy-to-use control panel, stays cold to the touch at all times and has a safety lock; its undersink heater/chiller unit simply connects to the mains and to a power supply. Once installed, Zip will come out, free of charge, to check and demonstrate it.

The tap costs about Pounds 2,000, but one lucky reader can get one free. Simply send your name, address and phone number to Zip Hydro Tap Competition, Evening Standard, Quay West Communications, Laxfield House, 2 Church Street, Coggeshall, Essex CO6 1TU by 1 March. The first name drawn will win a Hydro Tap.
